Please contact me with any problems/urgent alterations/dressmaking/cushion covers you need making/bench seating queries you have. Just remember, you can always ask.
New Agencies for drop off and collection points!
The next phase of development has started, and now you can drop off and collect your standard alterations at two separate agencies:
Pybus Newsagents, High Street, Boroughbridge YO51 9AW.
All collection points will be announced on here. Anything which does not needing a fitting, and is listed on the price list in the agency, can be taken to these agencies. If you need to try the item on please contact me directly.
The opening hours are Monday 9-4, Tuesday and Wednesday 9-5. Appointments may be made outside these hours by arrangment. The old telephone number - 01423 326009 - will still get you through to Barbara. You can also text on 07513 118182.
It was time for something to change. New beginnings, some new clients too, and much easier and closer for parking. We are on the first floor, with an entry system so anyone who can't manage the stairs can buzz me down to the door.
Our services remain the same, although one big change is the Kids Crafty Workshops which will cover sewing workshops as well as crafts, for children aged 8 to 12 years. Up to date information about all workshops will be found on the Workshops page.
We invite you to come and visit Stitch N Go and check us out, whether you are an established customer, or new to our services.
Onwards and upwards, as they say!
Up to date info for October 2016
Quite a lot has happened over the last year since we opened up in Boroughbridge town. The shop has seen a few changes internally, as we developed the spaces on two floors to create a more practical work area.
Another change we have seen is the introduction of university placements, from Huddersfield University, and other colleges around the area. These students come to fulfill their obligation and to learn about the world of work in the textiles field of today.
Keep an eye on the shop window for exciting things, and for the late night shopping event on 30th November, there will be a tea party theme involving a white rabbit and you may spot the person with the funny hat....
