Well here we are again.  At the point of opening up another brilliant space to work in, hold workshops and display a great range of beautiful items hand crafted in Yorkshire.

Stitch N Go opened on Monday 21st, providing a Professional garment alteration service for ladies and gents, as well as a dressmaking and designing service for anything from the smallest item to a wedding dress bespoke made just for you.

Adults workshops include many subjects too, from dressmaking for beginners to advanced, pattern cutting blocks, trousers to fit, and a range of creative crafts too.

All tutors are fully DBS checked and qualified in their field.

New Beginnings...

The shop in The Royal Arcade is beginning to take shape, plastering work has been done beautifully (if a bit messy on the floor) but all cleaned up now.  Went over yesterday to measure up for a few things, and figured out what I could fit where.  Its so exciting, although its not the first shop I've had by any means, had them in Harrogate and York in North Yorkshire, and Goole in East Yorkshire. Should be second nature by now.

Its such a little treasure, this old Victorian Arcade, beautifully restored into shops and businesses downstairs, with a few shops up on the balcony and the rest is made into flats, which in turn keep a watchful eye on the goings on in the rest of the Arcade.

Will have to get on and decorate the place towards the end of the week, need to get a move on now for the opening.  Was in London a few days ago, looking round the little Camden Market shops and found a real bargain, a half sized black wire dummy, display item, PERFECT for the shop, and it helps me get the idea over to the signwriter, the image needs to be completed asap. which is then my new logo.

Then onwards and upwards with all the other bits and bobs I need to do, when I have the logo I can steam ahead.  Website coming along great, almost done.  I sometimes need to pinch myself, I am so lucky finding this place...
